Fluoropolymer Coating Systems PTFE

PTFE
Polytetrafluoroethylene

PTFE is the most common fluoropolymers used in different industries for a wide range of applications, especially in critical applications in which chemical resistance, low friction and high temperatures resistance are mandatory.

Compared to other fluoropolymers, PTFE is not melt processable.

Normal PTFE is not appropriate for:

  • Blow molding,
  • Vacuum forming (except Moldflon) or
  • Injection molding.
