Fluoropolymer Coating Systems FEP

FEP
Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene

Compared to PTFE, FEP has similar material properties, the major difference between FEP and PTFE lies in the color and the maximum working temperature.

FEP is clear transparent, while PTFE is milky/white.

Application

FEP is typically used for non-stick applications where clarity is mandatory:

  • Soil analysis
  • Sight glasses etc.
